The story behind the flavours

I’ve always been a creator at heart. My journey began in the world of design — from graphics to photography — and eventually found its truest form in food. Cooking was never just a task; it was a legacy passed down through my family. My mother’s warmth and my father’s culinary touch filled our home with the aroma of spices and stories, and it’s from those memories that my love for food was born.

My years in London opened up a whole new world of culinary exploration. Surrounded by a melting pot of cultures, I discovered the beauty of global flavors and learned how deeply food connects people. What started as YummDishes, my recipe and food blog, soon grew into MasalaSutra and Pickledom — my way of sharing the flavors that shaped me, one jar at a time.

Today, through The Food Sutra Company, I continue that journey — blending tradition with creativity, honoring the past while celebrating the present.
